The more situations a puppy can encounter during the critical age of 4-16 weeks, the better behaved and adjusted they will be as an adult. Proper socialisation can prevent them from being fearful of new things or experiences such as riding in a car or meeting new people or children and will help them develop into a confident, well-mannered, happy companion.
Supervised interactions and play in day care helps puppies to learn how to greet, play and enjoy each other’s company politely and safely and is certainly one aspect of socialisation but a puppy also needs to be introduced to everything else in the world. Sometimes it is hard to get puppy out and about to have these experiences that is why we would like to help by offering our five day Puppy Day-school program conducted over five weeks. Your puppy can start anywhere in the program and complete all the 5 sessions in the program at their pace.
Our next Puppy Day School class will commence November/ December 2021. Please email train@pawsandrelax.com.au for availability.
