About Us

Paws & Relax was founded by Tegan Bensley and Annie Rosister following their time working with RSPCA Queensland, where they developed a strong passion for animal care and rehoming. They recognised the need for a safe, supportive environment where dogs could socialise, learn, and thrive while their humans are at work.

When Paws & Relax first began, dog daycare was still a very new concept in Brisbane, with only a handful of services available. Over the past 12 years, as the industry has grown and evolved, Paws & Relax has grown with it, continuously improving its approach to care, safety and enrichment.

Today, Paws & Relax is led by Tegan Bensley and her wife Charlee Bensley-Collins, alongside a fantastic team who share their commitment to high quality, thoughtful care and positive experiences for every dog.

Paws & Relax operates as a social doggy daycare and grooming service, providing structured play, enrichment and care that supports each dog’s wellbeing and strengthens the bond between dogs and their families.

Now one of Queensland’s most established and trusted facilities, Paws & Relax is proud to be recognised for its safe, science informed approach to daycare and enrichment. Our mission remains simple: to enhance the quality of life for every dog in a safe, enriching and supportive environment.
