Max’s thoughts on the cooler nights

Early mornings and nights are starting to be a little crisp…. does that mean that me or my puppy friends should skip baths and trims?  I should think not!  Let me tell you why.

Just like you humans, baths and trims are important for our hygiene and healthy fur growth!  Regular grooming ensures we don’t get uncomfortable knots, skin issues or matting underneath.  But that doesn’t mean we have to be clipped down butt naked!  Goodness, no! We can have a fresh groom and stay nice and fluffy.

And for those of you who like to show off trendy coats during the winter season, it’s best to keep your fur shorter. Why? Well, you see, with all your playing and rolling around in bed with our coats on we can get a lot of tangles in our long fur…. and tangles turn into matting and matting turns into getting a butt naked haircuts and my Pet Stylist friends don’t like doing that!

Have a look at our Grooming page or speak to one of my human friends by email [email protected] or telephone (07) 3157-8990 about how to maintain a beautiful fur coat while staying warm this winter!

Here are some grooming options they can provide to keep us warm, comfortable, and looking good this winter…

  • Full groom – clip all over/scissor work to your desired length (Includes bath, dry, nails and tidy up).
  • Mini groom – tidy up around the face, feet, bum and belly (includes nails, bath and dry).
  • Deluxe bath – warm bath, blow dry and brush out those tangles.
